The product development engineering located in Chatsworth, California is having an aggressive recruitment drive for several key openings.
Product Manager: Manage the life cycle of assigned products and product lines from product definition to product discontinuation. Conduct competitive analysis, market research and consolidate data into useful reports to steer new product creation. Successful candidate will possess 5 or more years of demonstrated success in the field of audio electronics and/or speaker development as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Background in music creation, performance or production a plus.
Industrial Designer with 3D CAD capabilities: Creative product designer with the ability to take a concept design into a 3D model. Proven track record in innovative concept creation. Experience in electronics packaging or loudspeaker product design as well as SolidWorks abilities all pluses
Mechanical Engineer: SolidWorks or ProE/Wildfire experience. Versed in top down design. Experienced in designing for tooling; injection molding, die casting. Electronics packaging or loudspeaker product experience a distinct plus. ME degree preferred.
Audio Electronics Engineer: Experienced design engineer for audio signal processing and/or power amplification products. EE degree and several years experience sought. Familiarity with offshore manufacture a plus.
Electronics Project Engineer: Experienced engineer with a background contributing to, and coordinating, in-house and ODM design projects. Takes product from concept to market. Must be familiar with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools. Audio product background a plus.
Software Engineer: This is a sustaining engineering role initially, handling debugging and extensions on existing audio processing and control code. The right candidate can expect to progress into original code creation. Minimum 2 years experience.
Loudspeaker Systems Engineer: Experienced loudspeaker systems design engineer with transducer design/specification know-how. Uses tools such as LMS and Leap to configure passive and active loudspeaker systems. Engineering degree (EE, AE etc.) preferred. Background in sound reinforcement products and familiarity with offshore manufacture pluses.
Loudspeaker Technician: Familiar with acoustic measurement software and systems such as LMS, TEF, Klippell etc. Knows which end of a Makita to hold and able to work well in the engineering team. Background in transducer test and diagnosis a distinct plus.
Electronics Technician: Background in audio electronics product test and measurement using Audio Precision equipment. Team player willing to Òroll the sleeves upÓ and assist in prototype building and evaluation of manufactured samples.
Quality Manager: Creates QC processes and procedures. Oversees offshore QA team. Ensures sustained product quality through the product lifecycle. This position reports to the VP Manufacturing. A seasoned, hands on QA professional is sought. Electronics or electro mechanical product experience preferred.
